Event Navigation

“Over half a million people are homeless. On any given night, there are over 600,000 homeless people in the U.S., according to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Most people are spending the night in either homeless shelters or in some short-term transitional housing. Slightly more than a third are living in cars or under bridges or are in some other way living unsheltered.”
HuffPost, 10 Facts About Homelessness

Homelessness continues to be a major dilemma in the lives of individuals and families. Through the creation and distribution of Homeless Helper Bags, some of the stress and tension associated with procuring and purchasing hygiene and food products can be alleviated.

The goal of Homeless Helper Bags is to encourage persons to share out of their gracious abundance while seeing the humanity in an often-overlooked people.
