Sunday Service

In-person or online, this is a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere with a 75-minute service that typically includes contemporary worship, gospel-centered teaching, and an opportunity for conversation between congregants. When we gather, we anticipate a chance to meet with the living God and participate in being the people of God.

hear from God

We gather to study Scripture so that we might be formed and transformed by the God who is revealed in its pages. Hearing from God shapes us, alters our viewpoints to see God’s kingdom and our world more clearly, and invites us to submit to the God who is speaking.

Jesus transforms all things

Clarksburg Church follows an exegetical approach to preaching, where each sermon is rooted in the text of Scripture. Because all of Scripture is a unified story that leads to Jesus, every sermon is also gospel-centered pointing to Jesus as the one who transforms all things. We believe that God is not a God of confusion, therefore, we seek to make the explanation of Scripture tangible, relevant, and always good news.

In Dialogue together

As the Body of Christ, we are called to love, serve, and worship God in connection with each other. Therefore, engaging with each other during and after our Sunday service is woven into the fabric of our time together. This could look like greeting each other, a conversation during the sermon, or an opportunity to share refreshments after the service.
